Whatchu Taco ‘Bout?
Taco Tuesday is obviously a classic dinner tradition for a lot of folks out there, myself included. Well, when I feel like it.
This recipe is yet another shining example of how you can avoid cheat days, stay in ketosis, and somehow still have all your favorite foods like before.
Remember those Jenny Craig infomercials that would play all the time in the late ’90s and early ’00s? It would always blare out of my TV: “Lose weight while eating all your favorite meals!” I would scoff loudly, roll my eyes so hard they touched the back of my skull and leave the room or flip to another channel. “What a ludicrous claim,” I would think to myself, “How can they expect anyone to believe such a thing?!“
Well, suffice it say I had quite the egg-on-my-face moment after my run in with keto recipes. Apparently those shining, glorious claims that Dan Marino would so gloriously trumpet out of my gigantic Philips TV… well, they may have been true.
Okay, actually, don’t quote me on that because I never looked into whether or not that particular “diet system” actually worked or if it was just a bunch of hype like most products sold on television tend to be. I’m moreso referring to the underlying concept that you can eat what you want and still lose weight.
